I'm Jen Casey, Holistic Nutritionist and Health Coach. I am your accountability partner, here to support and encourage you while we get your body back into balance. I work with you to set a wellness goal, and I help you create a foundation of healthy habits to set you up for success.

It's all about balance, baby! My signature coaching program takes the guesswork out of "what foods are best for my body?" and education along the way so you are set up for success. We generate a customized nutrition plan that prescribes foods to support your body, with my encouragement and unlimited support while we are working together. Be prepared for alot of self-discovery around your habitual behaviours!

I combine compassionate coaching with the Metabolic Balance meal plan. Upon an in-depth analysis of your 36 unique blood values, medical history, and your personal dietary preferences, we have a nutrition plan generated with a list of prescribed foods to help you reach your goals. Your personalized plan acts as your “road map,” and it indicates exactly what foods you should eat in order to orchestrate the biochemical changes needed for reaching your desirable weight and overall health goals.
You will only find real foods on your plan. There are no injections, pills or drugs, replacement meal shakes, or proprietary foods. We eat 3 balanced meals each day composed of only whole, fresh foods.

At the same time, you’re not required to track points or count calories, like with some nutrition programs. Instead, all the nutrient-dense foods on your personalized meal plan can easily be purchased at your local grocery store or farmers’ market.
You aren’t alone on the program. Throughout the four phases and 12 weeks together, you are supported personally by me, your certified Metabolic Balance coach/Nutritionist. I help guide you toward reaching your ideal weight, as you avoid yo-yo dieting and embrace your new healthy lifestyle.

The first phase is known as the cleansing or preparation phase, and it lasts two days. In this cleansing phase, you will only eat light food, such as vegetables, fruit, rice or potatoes. When the stomach and intestines have been emptied, the body switches to food that comes from the inside, namely from the fat reserves (keto metabolism). You will not experience any hunger cravings. As early as phase 1, you should also drink plenty of water to guarantee sufficient hydration.
The body requires time to detoxify (eliminate the poisons) and reset its metabolism in order to regain a healthy balance. The second phase should last at least 14 days. This is called the “strict conversion phase” or “detox phase.” Your diet will contain lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. The alkaline minerals in the diet bind acids, and therefore the acids are eliminated from the body. The healthy foods in the meal plan support detoxification by itself. That being said, compliance with the 8 Metabolic Balance guideline is very important during the seond phase. In just the first few days on this phase, you will begin to feel better. You can continue this phase past 14 days and stay on it until you reach your goal.
Things begin to change for you in Phase 3 – also called the “relaxed conversion phase.” In this phase you may stop measuring your food quantity and even try foods that aren’t on your list. I coach you on how to monitor yourself for symptoms as you reintroduce former foods, so you know how to determine if your body is not responding well to them. This is an experimental phase to help you slowly get your favourite foods back in to your diet, but now you will know how to enjoy them without overindulgence and discomfort. We address strategies to manage "old habits" that might resurface and challenge your new lifestyle. This is a big self discovery phase.
You made it! In Phase 4, your metabolism has changed and you can begin to feel the fruits of your labour. For instance, you notice your weight loss, you sleep better, and your newfound vitality gives you a new sense of confidence. In Phase 4, the goal is to maintain your success for the long-term. That is why it is also called the “maintenance phase.” In the last few weeks, you have learned what ingredients are ideal for you, and what a balanced meal includes in order for you to feel your best.
